Message From the Pastor

On behalf of the Beauty Spot Church family, I would like to personally thank you for visiting our website.  Our hope is that you will get to know us better through our beliefs, our ministry, and our mission.  We are a full-bodied congregation of believers.  Our ministry reach extends beyond our local church to the community and the world.

We are not a perfect church but we serve a perfect Savior. Beauty Spot, which we affectionately call the “Spot”, is an inclusive body of believers with open doors and open hearts that welcomes all people.  This is the "Spot" to worship and call home if you want to experience radical hospitality, passionate worship, spiritual growth through small group ministries, and engage in risk-taking ministry as we practice being the hands and feet of Jesus.

We gather each Sunday morning at 9:45 for church school which includes classes for adults, children, and youth. Our service continues at 10:45 with a time of praise, worship and celebration; and dynamic preaching.  In addition, Bible study is held each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm.  It is a time of refreshing of the mind, body, and spirit as we explore God’s Word together.

As you browse our site you will see we have choirs that offer a genre of music:  hymns, gospel, contemporary and worship music.  We have a liturgical dance ministry, mime, intercessory prayer and other specialized ministries that cater to the needs of children, youth, young adults, adults, older adults, women, and men.   We believe small spiritual formation groups are vital to our faith and Christian growth as we develop friendships and community among each other.

If you are seeking or would like to visit a spirit-filled place of worship, look no further.  We cordially invite you to visit us at “The Spot”, the perfect place to worship for imperfect people, a place where the Word of God is being preached and taught, the hurting is being healed, where everybody is somebody and Jesus is Lord.  Beauty Spot is a place to belong.

Sharing in God's Grace,

Rev. Varonica M Livingston
